Mike was born in Edmonton and raised on an acreage outside of Beaumont. After finishing high school, he began a career in construction, earning his Journeyman Electrician Certificate and Red Seal designation in 2013. He retuned to school in 2017, studying communications at MacEwan University before earning his JD from the University of Alberta in 2025.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and travelling. He keeps his construction skills sharp by taking on projects around the house inspired by posts his wife sees on Instagram. In addition to English, Mike speaks conversational French and beginner level Portuguese.
Mike is a Student-at-Law completing his articles at the firm. He is thrilled to be a member of the team and excited to meet and work with the people of Camrose and its surrounding communities.
